Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains what this website collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers the website only. Information shared with Amy during a mediation is governed by the confidentiality of the mediation itself and by New York law, not by this page.
Information you give us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. That information is sent to Amy so she can respond, and a copy of your message is emailed back to you as confirmation. It is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
Please keep initial messages general. A website form is not a secure channel, and sending a message does not create an attorney–client relationship or begin a mediation.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it — for example, which pages are read and which search terms lead here. Analytics tells us that a contact form was submitted, but never the contents of what you typed. IP addresses are anonymized. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognize repeat visits.
Our host also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, as a routine part of serving and securing the site.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site: Netlify for hosting, Resend for delivering contact form email, and Google Analytics for site statistics. Each handles data only to provide its service. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the analytics cookies described above. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally either way.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept in Amy's email for as long as needed to respond and to maintain ordinary business records. Analytics data is retained for 14 months and is not tied to your name or email address.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to amy@olivebranchmediation.com and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
